The space
"Best Airbnb experience ever..." - Jeff

The cabin is warm and bright and nature can be observed outside of all of the windows. The living room is painted to feel like you are inside of a sequoia grove, enjoying the quiet majesty of the enormous tree trunks. The reclining chair in the corner is set up for relaxation and reading and is joined by a comfortable leather sofa and love seat. A map painted on the wall in the hallway shows the major attractions of the area and how to get them and another map above the sofa shows how it would look in a fantasy novel. A Roku TV with Netflix and other streaming services is available for your enjoyment and a large sliding door leads out to the spacious patio.

The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room and are set up to be modern yet retain the feel of a rustic pine cabin. Appliances, dishes, and utensils are available and include a dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots, pans, blender, and a toaster. The dining room table is large and can sit six guests comfortably.

The master bedroom is bright and combines a rustic cabin feel with a modern king-sized bed. from IKEA. Nightstands contain reading lamps supported by touch-lanterns to give your evening that mountain feel. Fans help circulate cool air from the central air conditioner in the summer and portable heaters add to the warmth of the central heater. The T.V. in the room includes a Roku device with a Netflix account and the usual streaming services you can login to on your own.

The second bedroom is very flexible depending on what you need it for. The original built in desk was restructured to match the warm, rustic pine trim found throughout the cabin and allows the room to function well as an office. The closet was converted into two child-sized bunk beds. There is a sofa bed in the room as well, as comfortable as we have ever seen one, that accommodates adults and teens that do not fit in the smaller bunk beds.

Both bathrooms are completely remodeled and modern. The river rock shower floors feel good on the feet after a long day of hiking the mountain trails or enjoying the yard.

More flexible space is available downstairs, where you'll find a second living room, two leather sofas, a game table with chairs and and entertainment center with another Roku TV, books and games for long evening fun. Another bedroom is located there with a very comfortable queen bed and ample closet space, On warm summer days, this is a great spot to get away from the heat. An additional heater is installed in the wall of the bedroom to warm up on those cool evenings.

The deck outside of the living room has a table for four with an umbrella and a patio swing that seats up to three. It is a great place to begin and end your day as you listen to the wind rushing through the trees and the sounds of the nearby river. There are many rocks and trees for kids to climb on, a flat lawn to play games on and several other spacious areas outside to enjoy nature in your own way. Next to the cabin there is a Sequoia Tree working on growing and reaching the sky.

A laundry room next to the kitchen offers ample space to store packs, hiking poles, fishing gear, boots and jackets and there is a washing machine and dryer for your use and convenience.

The cabin owners also own a lot next to the Tule River where you can enjoy private river access. Take Coy Flat Drive down to the river and across the bridge. On the other side, to the right is a dirt parking space. The area down stream from the bridge is ours and can be accessed and enjoyed by our guests.
